Frequently Asked Questions
What is the sterilizing temperature limit for this electric vet surgery set?
The standard sterilizing temperature should be ≤ 135 °C. For the improved type, it can withstand up to ≤ 155 °C. Exceeding these temperatures will damage the motor.
Can the rechargeable battery be sterilized?
No, the battery is not autoclavable and cannot be sterilized. Make sure to remove the battery from the tool before sterilization procedures.
What are the drill bit size limits and specifications for these power drills?
A normal bone drill holds bits under 6mm. The acetabulum reaming drill operates with high torque at around 300 rpm, and the canulate drill works with nails or K wires at around 600 rpm.
How should the battery be stored and maintained after surgery?
Always remove the battery from the power tool after surgery. Leaving it inside will cause a small automatic discharge, which significantly shortens the lifespan of the battery. Additionally, ensure the battery chamber in the handpiece remains completely dry.
What is the maintenance routine for the cranial bur?
The cranial bur must be washed immediately after the surgical procedure using a purger. This prevents blood from drying and sticking inside the bur. Ensure it is dried thoroughly after cleaning.
What warranty terms are provided with this veterinary orthopedic set?
We offer a 2-year warranty for the whole machine and the motor, and a 3-month warranty for the rechargeable battery and other fast-consumption items.
